El bolso de Guille - Guille's purse

Hace bastante tiempo que mi amiga Guille me encargó que le hiciera un bolso. La única limitación era el color, lo quería de un color verde-caqui, aproximadamente, que le gusta mucho. No me costó demasiado decidir la tela para la tapa del bolso, pues la tenía hace mucho mucho tiempo. Una de esas telas que, cuando las ves, no tienes más remedio que comprarlas porque te gustan tanto que necesitas poseerlas. Y ahí estaba, en el armarito de las telas, esperando su momento. Sin embargo, no tenía yo ninguna tela que sirviera para el cuerpo del bolso, y eso sí me costó algún tiempo, encontrar la tela apropiada, con la que yo quisiera trabajar. Una vez superado este escollo, por diversas razones la labor se fue retrasando, de lo que me alegro, porque ese retraso me dio la oportunidad de hacerme con unas piedras semipreciosas que le compré a Sue en Gillette, Wyoming, una de las cuales he utilizado como adorno.
Anoche terminé el bolso, y aquí están las fotos que lo prueban. Aclaro que el interior del bolso va forrado con la misma tela de la tapa.

It has been a long time that my friend Guille commanded me to make a purse for her. The only requirement was the color, it had to be some kind of a khaki green, which she likes very much. It did not take me much to decide about the fabric for the flap, as I had it long time ago. One of those fabrics that, when you see them, you cannot help buying, because you like them so much that you need to own them. And there it was, in the fabrics little closet, waiting for its time. However, I did not have any fabric that would work for the purse's body, and that took me some time to find, a fabric that I would like to work with. Once this difficulty was overcome, for several reasons the project kept being delayed, which I am grateful for, as it gave me the opportunity to gather some gemstones that I purchased from Sue, in Gillette, Wyoming, one of which I used as embellishment.
Last night, I finished the purse, and here are the pictures to prove it. I want to say that the purse is lined with the same fabric on the flap.
